A Home For You! Successful Year For First Time Buyers

There are many things to consider when buying a new home, including layout, location and affordability. With thanks to schemes like Help to Buy, homeownership is more attainable than ever for young house hunters, including this group of Countryside buyers who prove that you really can have it all…

Samantha Sarsfield knew her new Atherton home was ‘the one’ when she discovered just how much was included with her Countryside home: “When we started house hunting, we viewed a lot of properties including both older houses and new-builds. After spending a lot of time looking, it become very clear that a new-build home was what we wanted. We’re glad that we chose a Countryside home, you get so much more for your money and the designs are timeless.”

Whilst over in Telford, Aimee Campbell loved the area and home design so much that she reserved off-plan: “As we reserved early, we went to another Countryside development to view the showhomes and just knew that we’d found ‘the one’. We really love the skylights and the open-plan kitchen in the New Stamford, but what really caught our attention was the master suite – it fills the entire top floor and feels really spacious.”

Stephanie Wilson was able to buy her new Ashwell home, in Ellesmere Port, while also planning her wedding, thanks to Help to Buy: “We’ve been saving for a house and a wedding since we got engaged, as we really wanted a place to call our own as we started our married life together. I always knew that I wanted a new build – I just like the idea of having a blank canvas that I can put my own mark on. Chris, however, wanted an older home because he felt it was better value but the Ashwell home actually changed his mind! The house is really spacious and you get so much more for your money compared to the second hand market.”
